Shiply Payment Protection & 5-Day Vehicle Inspection Guarantee

Your Peace of Mind Is Our Priority

At Shiply, we understand that purchasing a vehicle online is an important investment. That’s why we offer a payment protection and vehicle inspection process designed to help buyers complete their transactions with confidence.

Secure Escrow Payment Protection

For transactions enrolled in our escrow protection program, your payment is held in a designated escrow account and is not released to the vehicle seller until the agreed conditions for release have been satisfied.

The purpose of this process is to protect your funds while your vehicle is being transported and inspected.

5-Day Vehicle Inspection Guarantee

Once your vehicle is delivered, you will have five (5) calendar days to inspect and test it before the transaction is finalized, subject to the terms of your purchase and escrow agreement.

During this period, you can:

  • Inspect the vehicle’s exterior, interior, and mechanical condition.
  • Test-drive the vehicle, subject to applicable legal and insurance requirements.
  • Confirm that the vehicle matches the agreed description and specifications.
  • Verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
  • Review the vehicle’s title and accompanying documentation.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to our customer support team.

Your payment remains protected in escrow during the inspection period according to the agreed release conditions.

Vehicle Title & Documentation Guarantee

Every vehicle covered by this program must be delivered with the ownership documentation required by the purchase agreement and applicable law.

This includes:

  • The vehicle’s original or otherwise legally valid certificate of title, appropriately assigned for transfer.
  • A bill of sale or purchase agreement.
  • Applicable vehicle ownership and transfer paperwork.
  • Other required documentation necessary to complete the ownership transfer.

Our goal is to help ensure that you receive not only your vehicle, but also the documentation necessary to establish lawful ownership.

What Happens If There Is a Problem?

If the delivered vehicle does not match the agreed description, has a significant undisclosed issue, or arrives without required ownership documentation, you may submit a claim during the five-day inspection period.

Shiply will review the claim according to the applicable buyer protection agreement.

If the vehicle qualifies for rejection under the agreed terms, the transaction may be canceled and your protected payment returned in accordance with the escrow agreement, including any applicable vehicle return requirements and disclosed fees.

How Our Payment Protection Process Works

Step 1 – Secure Payment

The buyer deposits the agreed purchase funds into the designated escrow account using the verified payment instructions.

Step 2 – Vehicle Shipping

After payment is confirmed, the vehicle is prepared for transportation and shipped to the buyer’s designated delivery location.

Step 3 – Vehicle Delivery

The buyer receives the vehicle and the required ownership documentation.

Step 4 – Five-Day Inspection

The buyer has 5 calendar days from the documented delivery date to inspect and test the vehicle and submit any eligible claim.

Step 5 – Payment Release

Following buyer acceptance, or another release condition expressly agreed to by the parties, the escrow funds are released to the seller.

Our Commitment to You

At Shiply, we believe vehicle purchases and shipping transactions should be transparent, secure, and straightforward.

Our payment protection program is designed around three essential commitments:

Payment Protection: Your funds are held according to the agreed escrow conditions.

Vehicle Inspection: You receive a five-day opportunity to inspect and test the delivered vehicle.

Ownership Documentation: The seller must provide the required title and transfer paperwork.
